Aren't you tired of having to visit your doctor every time your lower back acts up, and only being given some painkillers to relief the pain? There is a far more easier way of getting rid of the pain in your back almost immediately, without even stepping away from your home or office. You should feel much better after doing these simple stretches right now:
Sitting Stretch
This is great if you are currently seated in your office cubicle when your back starts to ache. Sit comfortably, then slowly lean forward as much as you can. Reach out your arms and touch the floor. Hold that stretch for about 20 seconds before slowly going back to an upright sitting position. Do these for 3 to 5 times.
Lying Stretch
If you are at home or somewhere more private and comfortable, you could do the lying stretch to get some relief on your hurting back. Find a flat surface to lie down with your knees bent, then slowly pull your knees towards your body. Try to bring your knees as close to your chest as possible and hold it there for 10 seconds before slowly bringing your legs back down. Repeat this 3 times.
Within minutes after doing these stretches, you should notice yourself feeling better in your lower back, and regain your mobility. You can then carry on with your daily activities without any more pain, for now.
But...
You should never neglect the pain in your lower back if it keeps recurring every now and then. Always remember that pain is just a symptom, and not the root problem. And without doing anything, the cause of your lower back pain will not go away and will keep hurting your back again and again!
It is not difficult to do a self-assessment to find out the real source of your backaches. Once you determine what is it that is causing the hurt in your back, then you can proceed to carry out the necessary steps to correct the condition in order for you to live a pain-free life.
