While you are resting, you can sit against a heating pad or you can buy the over the counter heat wraps that you simply wrap around your waist line and once you do this it is activated and heats up. These types of wraps will last for quite awhile so you can get lower back pain relief as you go about your duties. There are many other forms of lower back pain relief that don't require medicating.
